Due to the regional differences in employment market, economy, innovation potential etc. a strong trend towards education and qualification at the regional level can be seen. The competitive capacity of regions depends on cooperation of its inhabitants, whereas knowledge and qualification become key qualifications.
Therefore education and continuing education turn into a location factor. The supply of required offers in education supports the economical and social processes sustainable. The network of professional schools is a cooperation including enterprises as well as regional education institutions: Especially corporate education locations, which increase the efficiency of those institutions in the region, gain synergy effects and prevent double investments. Concerning this, the private professional school is already supported by cooperative relations with other institutions.
 Based on this a diversity of new cooperative relations and possibilities is created, which can be described as educational network as well. They include et al.

  • exchange of resources as knowledge, working material or personnel
  • cooperation to improve the regional development and the regional supply of offers in education and continuing education
  • formal and informal relation systems to support the implementation of projects
  • information (technical) relations

According to the newly established learning concept the classes are not any more organized in traditional courses but they are pre-constructed in form of learn fields. In doing so a multidisciplinary curriculum is created and the course based structure is replaced. Initiating a partial turn-away of the course based structure in professional education forces the teachers to support the relation between learning and working (“working process orientation”).
Employed teachers have to have knowledge of new technical things but also a clear imagination of the classification of their specialization in a complex working process. The required expansion of specialist competences is increased by the need of higher system competences.
Besides the implementation of the curriculum the mediation of specific additional qualifications and the supply of continuing education are the main focus of the professional school in Pritzwalk.
The need of new and continuing qualifications is to be realized by the cooperation of the learning locations. This cooperation ranges from coordination of the cooperative relation to the curricular adjusted collaboration of learning locations and can have different intensity related to content, aim and organisation.
The learning locations (including additional corporate education of the Bildungsgesellschaft mbH Pritzwalk) and the private professional school have do cooperate to ensure the education success.
In the professional education and continuing education new organisation models and educational networks of different partners are more necessary than in enterprises, schools, corporate education institutions, advanced technical colleges providing education as well as contributions to product and process innovation.
The vanishing parting line between education and continuing education, new qualifications and new requirements towards working organisation in enterprises demand the cooperation with further partners in the educational network.
Additional qualification expanding on the education enables not only individual local education but also elements of continuing education, which can be credited in further professional continuing education.
The transfer of decisions to the school in the last years contributes to the autonomy of this school and the opening towards the local special needs.
This transfer and new cooperative relations with other non academic locations integrating especially practical experiences in education is realized by the Bildungsgesellschaft mbH Pritzwalk.
